Tijdens de pandemie kwam Amanda in contact met producer Alekos “Kosie” Syropoulos uit Los Angeles. Ze co-schreven een reeks tracks zonder elkaar ooit in levende lijven ontmoet te hebben.
Als creative director creërt ze een total experience vanuit elke track. Niet alleen de zelfgeschreven teksten, maar de gehele combinatie van de muziek, choreografie, styling en setup vertelt het verhaal. COME HOME komt met een video teaser gechoreografeerd door Kevin van der Kleij.

During the pandemic, Amanda got in touch with Los Angeles based producer Alekos “Kosie” Syropoulos. They co-wrote a series of tracks without ever meeting in real life.
She creates a total experience out of every track as creative director. Not only self-written lyrics, but the total package of music, choreography, styling and setup tells the story. COME HOME comes with a video teaser choreographed by Kevin van der Kleij.
Als zangeres, danseres en actrice treed Amanda op bij verschillende nationale en internationale evenementen waaronder het voorprogramma van Beste Zangers Live in Ahoy Rotterdam, Formule 1 in Zandvoort 2022 en televisieprogramma Married at First Sight. Haar talent, haar aangename uitstraling en professionaliteit maken haar multi-inzetbaar en zorgen voor een positieve ambiance voor zowel haar collega’s, werkgevers en publiek. Amanda is zowel inzetbaar als solo artiest, als in combinatie met andere vocalisten, live band op DJ.
As a singer, dancer and actress, she performed at multiple national and international events such as the supporting act of ‘Beste Zangers Live’ at Ahoy Rotterdam, Formula 1 at Zandvoort 2022 and televisionshow ‘Married at First Sight’. Her talent, pleasant appearance and professionalism provide a positive ambiance for both her colleagues and employees as well as the audience. Amanda can be booked as solo artist or in combination with other vocalists, live band or DJ.
Nog voor haar afstuderen aan het HBO van Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts werd Amanda geselecteerd als danseres voor Princess Cruises. Dat gaf haar de kans om een jaar lang de wereld rond te reizen, op te treden in de groots opgezette productieshows en samen te werken met o.a. de Amerikaanse tekstschrijver en componist Stephen Schwartz.
Terug op Nederlandse bodem werd Amanda uitgekozen als een van de lead-vocalisten in de theaterproductie The Magic of Jeans: Heartbeat. Momenteel is ze werkzaam als zangeres op verschillende evenementen zoals bruiloften en bedrijfsfeesten in samenwerking met Sax With The DJ en Ferocious Events. Ze is zowel te boeken voor een acoustische set als in combinatie met DJ’s.
Daarnaast zit Amanda in country pop girlband Magnolia Road waarmee ze met drie andere waanzinnige zangeressen optreed op cruise schepen als guest entertainer.
In het najaar van 2019 was Amanda te zien als één van de 100 juryleden in het muziekprogramma All Together Now op RTL4 waarin ze haar kennis van muziek kon delen met de kandidaten.
Before graduating from the Bachelor program of Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts, Amanda was selected as a dancer for ‘Princess Cruises’. This gave her the opportunity to travel the world for over a year and perform in production shows and work together amongst the American text writer and composer Stephen Schwartz.
In the Netherlands, Amanda was chosen as one of the lead vocalists in the theatre production ‘The Magic of Jeans: Heartbeat’. Currently, she works as a singer at a variety of events such
as weddings and receptions in collaboration with ‘Sax With The DJ’ and
‘Ferocious Events’. She can be booked for an acoustic set as well as in
combination with DJs.
In autumn 2019, Amanda was seen as one of the 100 judges in the musical television show ‘All Together Now’, broadcasted on RTL 4, where she could share her knowledge of music with the contestants.
Amanda komt uit een muzikale familie. Zij groeide op met een componist en pianist als vader en pianiste en muziekdocente als moeder waardoor zij al vroeg in aanraking kwam met muziek.
Vader Jaco Simons schrijft Nederlandstalige ballads en bracht in 2022 zijn album Laat mij maar Even uit. Alle tracks op dit album zijn door Amanda ingezongen en gearrangeerd.
Amanda was born and raised in a musical family. With her father being a composer and pianist and her mother being a pianist and music teacher, she has been connected with music from a very young age.
Her dad Jaco Simons writes Dutch ballads and released his album ‘Laat mij maar Even’ in 2022. All tracks on the album are sung and arranged by Amanda.
